Pantry Step Stool

We have a few high shelves in our pantry that always required us fetching the step stool to reach. That resulted in us not utilizing those shelves as much as we could. I decided to make a dedicated step stool for the pantry that would always be there.

Since we store a lot of things on the floor of the pantry, and important criteria was to design so that it did not occupy that much floor space. I achieved this by making the space under the steps accessible for storage.

Stability was also an important design goal. I achieved that, but I could have done better if I would have flared out the back vertical support at its bottom.
