Trip Tools

This project is an open source application for trip planning, management, and journaling. The Trip Tools GitHub Page does a beter job explaining.

The vision for this project is broad in scope and it is not possible for one person to see it through. Thus, I am building it incrementally based upon my own personal needs until there is more interest in developing it. I started with the post-trip journaling and travelog publishing feature because I had a backlog of travel logs to write. I then added the Google My Map browser extension as that is a tool I had a prototype for and use a lot.

The genesis of the idea for this project came a few years before and there was a prototype browser extension project Vacation Tool that served as the basis for the new browser extension built for the Trip Tools project.
