Background
The multiport valve used to select where the pool pump sends the water was leaking. I needed to buy a new one to replace it. The main complication was in this also requiring redoing the pool filter's input an doutput lines. My filter is very old and finding parts for it was not easy. I settled for a a someone hacked together solution for the o-rings and unions.
